5k Course:
A 5k run/walk beginning and ending at the Belmont County Courthouse on Main Street in downtown St. Clairsville, Ohio. It will traverse over a physically challenging St. Clairsville National Road Bike Trail and the Streets of the City of St. Clairsville.
Notice: COURSE CHANGE - Due to the tunnel construction on the St. Clairsville National Road Bike Trail the course has been changed for the 2009 Sam Mumley Race. Please click on the 5k Course Map (PDF Format) to view the course.
Entry Fee:
Pre-registration fee is $15.00 for either the 5K run or walk, race day registration fee is $18.00 (7:00 a.m. to 7:45 a.m.), pre-registration will be accepted until Thursday, August 10th. (Non-refundable). Make checks payable to St. Clairsville Sunrise Rotary, P.O. Race Day Check-in:
Runner Packet Pick-up begins at 6:45 a.m. until 7:45 a.m.
Championchip Timing:
This year's race will be timed by RS Racing Systems using the championchip system. On race day, runners and walkers will be issued a rental computer chip, which is attached to the shoelace and worn throughout the race. Special mats at the finish line will record a finished time for each chip. Make sure you get the right chip assigned to you. All chips MUST be returned at the finish line or the participant will be assessed a non-refundable, unreturnable chip replacement fee of $40.
