11th Annual Samual A. Mumley Memorial 5K Race & Walk
The first Rotary
Club was founded in 1905. We are celebrating our 104th year of
Rotary International and Dong Kurn Lee, the International
President, has selected "Make Dreams Real" as our theme for the year extending from July 1,
2008 to June 30, 2009. |
The St. Clairsville Sunrise Rotary Club joins in this celebration and welcomes guests from other Rotary clubs and is interested in new members. If you have thought of becoming a Rotarian contact a member from the Members List on this web site and express your interest. You will be invited to be our guest at one of our meetings and will see what our club is like. You will be able to see what our activities are and get a feel of the membership as a whole. If you decide to join and are willing to commit yourself to attend regular weekly meetings and participate in our projects, you will be invited to join.
We meet every Thursday morning in the ballroom of the Belmont Hills Country Club at 7 AM and close our meetings by 8 AM. Breakfast is served at 6:45 AM and we find the fun and fellowship are a great way to start the day.
The 2008-2009 projects are the 11th Annual Samual A. Mumley Memorial 5k Race and Walk, a Golf Scramble, the One Month Lottery, and the Jokers Wild Card game. The money raised goes primarily to supporting various local voluntary community efforts including the St. Clairsville Library, the Salvation Army, the American Red Cross, the Tri-County Women's Help group, Easter Seals, the St. Clairsville City Parks, and many others.
This web site is designed to introduce ourselves and invite your inquiries. Please contact one of our members with your questions and help us to "Share Rotary " as we continue to celebrate our Second Century of Rotary International.
The St. Clairsville Sunrise Rotary Club web site was designed and is maintained by the Systems Applications Classes of Wheeling Park High School. It is the intention of the St. Clairsville Sunrise Rotary Club to develop a web site in a manner consistent with our members and visitors feedback, so please feel free to contribute by emailing the webmaster .
